TUC RAIL chooses OASE: learning tailored to every employee 

At TUC RAIL, learning is at the heart of the organization. The company searched for a solution like OASE to encourage lifelong learning among employees. “We want to motivate our employees to learn in a way that suits them,” explains Anneleen Van Passel, Change Management Officer. “Some prefer classroom training, others like e-learning. With OASE, everyone can learn at their own pace and at a time that works for them.” 

What makes OASE special is its direct applicability. For employees looking for a solution to a specific problem, the platform offers short, bite-sized videos that provide quick answers. “That makes the platform especially accessible and efficient,” says Anneleen. 

 

The multilingual nature of OASE is also a major asset for TUC RAIL. “We are a bilingual organization, about 50% Dutch and 50% French,” says Monique Van Dycke, Training Officer. “It’s a real added value that employees get explanations in their own language, even if the application itself is in English.” 

 

The implementation of OASE happened in three phases. First, the platform was integrated into the existing TUC Rail Digital Academy. Next, employees received direct access to the OASE platform, so they could look up information independently. In the third phase, OASE was integrated into the Microsoft 365 environment, bringing the platform even closer to the employees’ daily work tools. 

 

Within the Digital Academy, TUC RAIL also uses OASE’s videos for their “Fast and Curious” segment. These are ultra-short videos of less than three minutes that explain a single topic quickly and clearly. “They’re a separate category in our e-learning offering,” Monique explains, “and are ideal for employees who want to quickly learn something new.” 

 

So, OASE offers not only speed and flexibility, but also broad accessibility and integration with existing systems. It’s a true oasis of learning opportunities, presented in a bite-sized way, so that every employee can efficiently tackle their digital challenges.
